Yoga to Celebrate Pregnancy and Conscious Parenting!

Prenatal yoga will help you to gently and intelligently improve your strength, flexibility, and endurance. The classes incorporate breathwork, meditation and visualization techniques to allow the student to come more fully into her body and to feel.

The grounding practice of yoga can provide a healthy framework for dealing with the sometimes turbulent emotions of pregnancy.

Prenatal sessions strive to foster a sense of community and connection; remembering that conscious parenting begins long before your baby is born.

Prenatal Yoga is appropriate for women in all stages of a healthy pregnancy and for all levels of prior yoga experience. The focus is on learning how to listen to your bodies cues and emphasizes the function of a yoga pose, rather than perfect form.

It is  recommended that you discuss your participation in prenatal Yoga with your doctor prior to attending your first session, so that any specific precautions can be addressed.
